Geraldine Muhammad, novelist, playwright, screenwriter, filmmaker, photographer, webmaster and teacher, is an alumni of The City College of New York as well as an alumni of the first graduating class of the Audrey Cohen College MBA in Media Management Masters program. While she was an undergraduate student at City College, Ms. Muhammad had the opportunity to write for both The Paper and The Campus City College Newspapers. She served for a period of time as the President for the CCNY Students for Cultural Exchange.
The plans for building this web site began in the Broadcast Cable and Telecommunications Arts class, during the first of three semesters of the Audrey Cohen College MBA in Media Management Graduate Degree program. The ideas for the development this site were conceived, planned and presented to the MBA in Media Management Masters faculty.Later during the second semester, actual work on the website began in the Multimedia Industry and Design Course where the HTML beginnings of this site were presented as a final project.
Ms. Muhammad received the CCNY Black Alumni Association Outstanding Achievement Award in 1998. The CCNY Graduate English Department has featured in their Spring 1999 Newsletter, "Dreaming Life And Living The Dream", an article which gives an account of the 1998 trip to the Cannes Film Festival.
